When Israel forcefully removed settlers from Gaza that didn’t improve diplomacy. Israel left them homes, greenhouses, abundance of opportunities to turn Gaza into a thriving country. Instead Gazans burned it all to the ground. And of course tensions increased. So it is very difficult to believe things would be different this time. I think the only hope would be a the removal of Hamas and the hope for a different government elected in Gaza. And also a different government elected in Israel.
