Very interesting perspective but the reasoning may be multi-layered. We often hang out with who we feel closest to and who we can relate to. This is evident in other countries as well where different cultures and ethnicities stick together. If you think about it, it’s been that way throughout history. What is encouraging is looking at interfaith, interracial and intercultural relationships and how those relationships create more opportunities to grow together.
