They can offer to accept a peace agreement. Israel left the "occupation" in 2005. They left them green houses, crops, homes. All of which were destroyed by the Palestinians. I'm not going to sit here and act like Israel wasn't a bully but when a country offers you 5 different peace agreements and rejects them all and then continues to terrorize them (and of course there are retaliations that affect Palestinian citizens) when is enough enough? When does the governing body (Hamas, PLO, Abbas, etc) say, I want my people to live a life in peace so they can thrive? When do they put them first and not pocket the BILLIONS of dollars in aid that they receive so they can live in mansions in Lebanon? This is not a once-sided conflict. Most Israelis want nothing more than to live in peace. But when all Israelis know is terror against them, that leads to electing someone like Netanyahu. Peace is a two way street. And acting like the Jewish people have no right to the land is just as preposterous as acting like the Palestinians have no right to the land. Who colonized who? You can go back 2000 years and count. When Jerusalem has been attacked over 50 times in 4000 years no one gets to say the land just belongs to them.
