Sadly, the few articles that have reported about the recent rise in antisemitism (on this platform) were written by Jewish people. Of those articles, the only ones picked up by bigger publications criticized Zionism and used antisemitic tropes. If you look beyond the platform, articles mentioning the recent repeated attacks on Jewish people (globally) is even more scarce. You can see from your own reaction how any mention of Jews or antisemitism immediately leads to wanting to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I believe this is part of the point the author is trying to make. Namely, to try and separate the two and validate antisemitism as bigotry and not conflate it with Israeli policies. Progressives have certainly not always spoken out against antisemitism--instead they deflect and talk about Zionism, which is underscored in your response.
