I’m familiar with that article and many others. There isn’t a dispute that people in the Levant and surrounding areas have lineage to the region. Jerusalem was conquered over 50 times so there can be DNA traced back from so many different groups of people. Archeology is also informative and also ties Jews and Muslims to the region. I don’t think the land “belongs” to any one group more than the other. But to call Israelis colonizers is just plain false. There has been a Jewish presence there for centuries, as the Western Wall is the holiest site for Jewish people. Even though Jews were not in control of the region they had presence there. If I’m honest with you, you don’t seem to know a lot about what’s going on, but I applaud you for wanting to learn. I would suggest a deep dive into the history of the region. It is truly not my responsibility to provide you with this information as you keep coming back with links and it doesn’t seem like you really have a clue about the rich and diverse region, nor why this land means so much to many people.
