Hi Philip, thanks so much for your comment. You're right in that this article doesn't speak to everyone and I apologize if that was frustrating to you.
Moshe Feldenkrais studied the Alexander Technique (AT) which is a method I have been practicing for 20 years and also whose principals informed this piece. I don't speak of correct posture because that is not in-line with my work. I explain that posture is fluid and not something to try and attain or hold on to. To my knowledge, the idea of re-educating the body is supported both by Feldenkrais and AT.
I was pleased to read that you are now able to sit, stand and move with more efficiency. That is encouraging and no simple feat.
